Hydration and Ileostomy: Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice

Researchers at Ulster University are looking for people living with an ileostomy to complete an online questionnaire looking at the hydration and fluid intake behaviours of those living with an ileostomy. 

This research study at Ulster University is looking to understand the hydration and fluid intake behaviours of people living with an ileostomy. 

Dietary and fluid intake behaviors in people living with an ileostomy are under investigated, this research aims to look in detail about these behaviours through an online survey. The survey will take around 20 minutes to complete and you will be asked questions about your ileostomy, food and drink intake, and your knowledge of hydration and fluid.

To take part you must be:

  • currently living with an ileostomy
  • aged 18+ 
  • live in the UK or Ireland
