• use information about you to ensure you get the best experience, communications and support we can provide
• be open and transparent about why we collect your information and what we will do with it
• follow legal requirements to look after your information and hold it securely

We will not sell your data to anyone. We will only share your data outside of Crohn’s & Colitis UK with trusted suppliers that meet our privacy standards, and to help provide you and our community with the best service.

This may include some background research with trusted third party organisations to help with our fundraising. We look at information that’s already publicly available, alongside details you’ve shared with us, to help us understand the kinds of causes people might care about.

Social Media posts: If you tag us in a social media post, we might share it to help spread the word about our work. We’ll always take care not to include any identifying information beyond the creator’s tag, and we won’t repost anything that features young people under 18 without parent’s permission.

If you’d rather we didn’t share your post, that's fine - you can turn off reposting whenever you like by updating the settings in your social media platforms.
