Young people’s experiences of discrimination when help-seeking for chronic pain

Researchers at University of East London are looking for young people with experience of chronic pain to take part in an online interview to share their experiences with researchers as part of a new research project. 

Researchers at University of East London are looking for young people to take part in a new research study looking to learn more about young people's experience of discrimination when seeking help for chronic pain. They hope to develop ways to help healthcare professionals reduce discrimination and improve outcomes. 

If you decide to take part you will be asked to join a 1-hour online interview with a researcher to share your experiences. 

To take part you must:

  • be aged 18-24
  • live in the UK
  • experience chronic pain (this can be self-diagnosed) 
  • have sought help for chronic pain in a healthcare setting (GP, hospital clinic etc.)
