We glow together
League One Milton Keynes Dons defender Russell Martin is supporting the charity's unique Run the Night event; a 10km race which takes runners along a route infused with lights and music, past iconic London landmarks such as Canary Wharf, Cutty Sark and The O2.
Russell was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis shortly after he joined Norwich Football club in 2010 and has supported Crohn’s & Colitis UK as an ambassador throughout his football career. He has been keen to support the charity in raising awareness of Crohn's Disease and Colitis, and support others who are in a similar situation.
Run the Night is a 10km race with a difference. Participants receive a fluorescent technical top, glowsticks, race number with chip timing and a free drink at the finishing club venue.
During the race, runners glow through illuminate zones across the London Docklands, before arriving at Studio 338 for a free celebratory drink at our finish venue.
Entry is £30 and and runners receive dedicated fundraising support and be awarded a unique medal when completing the challenge.
