What factors affect self-management and well-being in young people with IBD

Researchers at Aston University are looking for young people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to take part in a new study looking at how IBD affects well-being.

This research study at Aston University is looking to understand more about how IBD affects a person's wellbeing and how young people cope with their condition and manage symptoms. As well as how they receive support.

By investigating the intersection of physical symptoms, mental health, and self-management, this study will look at the unique challenges faced by young people with IBD. Researchers want to understand how young people can be supported to manage their symptoms and to improve their mental health and overall well-being.

If you take part you will be asked to complete an online survey which will take about 20 minutes.

To take part you must be:

  • aged 18 - 30
  • live with Crohn's or Colitis

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but your contact details will be forwarded to the researcher who will get in touch with you directly with more information. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
