Addressing unmet needs in adult IBD care

Researchers at University of Lincoln are recruiting both adults diagnosed with IBD and current IBD Healthcare Professionals to a study looking at unmet needs in adult IBD care. You will be invited to complete a short online survey.

This study funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) East Midlands (EM) and the University of Lincoln will assess unmet needs in adult IBD care in order to improve IBD management.

The study aims to highlight the impact of a complete multidisciplinary team and holistic patient-centered care in managing patients with IBD, especially in relation to dietetics and mental health. It will explore both the patient and healthcare professional perspective on priorities in IBD management to determine if there are any discrepancies between opinions and if so, the reasons for these. The study will also aim to identify approaches patients would find beneficial and the feasibility of implementing these into IBD care.

You can take part if you are:

  • over 18 years of age with a confirmed diagnosis of IBD AND receiving your care within the UK

or

  • an IBD healthcare professional currently working in the UK.

You will be asked to complete a short online survey (taking approximately 10 minutes).

For patients: Please read the Patient Information Sheet

For Healthcare professionals: Please read Clinician Information Sheet

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but you will be forwarded to the survey page. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
