Improving IBD advice line services within the UK

Researchers at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust are looking for people living with Crohn's or Colitis to help them shape future research by attending an online focus group.

This new shaping research opportunity with researchers at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is looking to improve Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) advice line services within the UK by working together with those living with IBD and those providing the service, such as specialist nurses.

The aim of the project is to identify priority areas for improvement, and design potential solutions.

To take part you must:

  • be living with Crohn's or Colitis
  • have experience of accessing (or trying to access) NHS based IBD advice lines.

If you take part you will be asked to attend a 1.5hr online focus group via Microsoft Teams. It will be a chance to offer your views on the topic and priorities for the project. There will be a maximum of 8 - 10 people attending each focus group.

You will be sent a short project description before the online meeting and will be asked to answer a brief, optional questionnaire about the research plans.

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but you will be forwarded to the study webpage. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
