Fibrosis (scarring) activity in Crohn's Disease

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh are looking for people with lived experience of Crohn's with fibrostenotic disease to take part in a patient engagement group. This will involve sharing your lived experience to help shape future research.

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh are looking for people with Crohn's and lived experience of fibrosis to take part in patient engagement activity to help shape future research.

The research is looking to identify and track the progression of scarring (fibrosis) in patients with Crohn's. The purpose is to improve the understanding of the pattern and timing of scarring in Crohn's. With this, we hope to be able to identify early signs of scarring and develop future therapies that target this. The researchers want to engage with people with lived experience to learn more about living with scarring in Crohn's.

The opportunity will be virtual and you will be asked to share your lived experience with the researcher, this will be used to develop future research studies. If you would like more information, please complete the form below.

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but your contact details will be forwarded to the researcher who will get in touch with you directly with more information. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.

Opportunity posted 16 December 2024
