Development of an online decision aid for Ulcerative Colitis treatment options

Researchers at University of Sheffield are looking to develop an online decision aid to help patients with Colitis to understand different treatment options and make informed choices. They want feedback on the decision aid from people living with Colitis.

Researchers at the University of Sheffield are developing an online decision aid to help people living with Colitis understand their treatment options and help them to make informed choices. The decision aid will provide information about medication and surgery.

The researchers want to talk to people living with Colitis to get their thoughts on the decision aid and help them shape the research project.

If you take part in this Shaping Research opportunity you will be asked to join an online discussion with the researcher at a time convenient to you between January and March 2025. You will be shown the decision aid and asked to comment on the design, wording, discuss if you think there is information missing, and provide general feedback. The meeting will last about 1 hour.

If you are interested in taking part, or would like more information about the study, please complete the form below.

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but your contact details will be forwarded to the researcher who will get in touch with you directly with more information. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
