Identifying the most important future research questions: A perianal Crohn's Disease research survey

Researchers at St Mark's, Fistula Research Unit, are looking for people to complete a short survey about perianal Crohn's Disease. This will help them to shape future research.

Researchers at St Mark's are looking to identify what are the "top 10" most important research questions relating to perianal Crohn's disease that could be answered by future research.

They would like people to complete a short survey (5 minutes) as a first step to understanding what matters most to people with lived experience of perianal Crohn's. They want to hear from everyone with experience of perianal Crohn's, this could be:

  • lived experience as a patient
  • as a parent, or carer for someone with perianal Crohn's disease
  • as a healthcare professional or volunteer with experience looking after people with perianal Crohn's.

If you are interested in taking part, or would like more information about the study, please complete the form below. The survey will be open until January 2025.

It is very important that people with lived experience are part of the process to help decide what are the most important research questions. The researchers at St Mark's hope that this process will help to ensure that the needs of people living with perianal Crohn's Disease are considered by funders when deciding how to allocate resources towards research.

By entering your details, you are not committing to take part, but you will be forwarded to the survey. You will have the opportunity to change your mind at any time.

This research study is NOT organised by Crohn's & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.
