Ways to get involved

We know that different companies want to work with charities in different ways. Some may be looking for a way to engage with customers, or to get staff involved, and some may be looking at how they can make an impact by supporting a specific project. We’re happy to talk to you and help you achieve your goals in any way we can.

Below are some ideas to start you thinking about how you can be life-changing too.

Fundraise

From bake sales to abseils, sky dives to treks and challenges, we can help you and your team raise vital funds for Crohn’s & Colitis UK. If you want to host your own event (maybe a quiz night or auction), or take part in something we’re running, there’s something for everyone and our team is here to help every step of the way. There are also sponsorship opportunities for Crohn’s & Colitis UK events as well if your company is interested.

Are You IN?

Better awareness, tools and conversations are helping people living with invisible disabilities and conditions at work.

Will you set a high standard of support for employees living with hidden disabilities?

Charity of the Year

We know that this means different things to different companies. We would love to talk to you to find out what it means for your company, and look at how we can help plan a series of events to engage with your customers, staff and stakeholders to make a meaningful, life-changing partnership.

Make a corporate donation

You may want to donate to our greatest area of need, or towards a specific project like our Patient Information or Helpline. Do get in touch to find out how your donation can have the biggest impact.

Cut the Crap

Our early diagnosis campaign is raising awareness of Crohn’s and Colitis. To make a difference and make early diagnosis a reality for many, you can:

  • Share our symptom checker
  • Back our call for early diagnosis
  • Spread awareness through your networks
  • Help us to become a company’s Charity of the Year
  • Donate to support the campaign and reach more people

Pro Bono Opportunities

We’re working on many specific projects currently aimed at improving our reach, from how we best talk to different audiences within our supporter base, to how we can best promote specific promotions and events. We’d love to understand your team's skill set and see if there are any ways we can learn from you. This could be on a project basis, or maybe more general in a lunch and learn setting.

Volunteering

Whether it’s desk-based or out-and-about, we have various volunteering roles to suit everyone. From bucket collecting at an event to doing some desk-based research from home or even introducing us to people who may be interested in our work – volunteering makes a huge difference and we appreciate every hour donated.
