Mugs of coffee

Social Meet Up - Portsmouth

25 January 2025 | 10:30-12:30 | Costa Coffee, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 3LY

Join us for a chat and a coffee on Saturday the 25th January in the Costa Coffee on the ground floor of the QA.

Come and talk to others who know what you’re going through and feel the load lighten as you do. Perhaps you’ll even be encouraged to get more involved with the Local Network as a volunteer to help and support others with the conditions in the local area.

These events are run by volunteers and if you're interested in volunteering but not sure what's involved or what opportunities there are, why not join us at this event where you can meet our organising team and event volunteers to find out whether it's for you!

If you're unable to attend but are keen to learn more about volunteering please complete an enquiry form, here.

We know that for some, talking about Crohn’s and Colitis can be difficult and that this sometimes puts them off attending our events. To hopefully help with talking about the conditions Crohn's & Colitis UK have created a Talking Toolkit to help you find the confidence and support you need to talk to other people about Crohn’s or Colitis.

This event is hosted by Dorset & West Hampshire Local Network volunteers in collaboration with the IBD Team at Queen Alexandra Hospital. Please contact us for more information.

Volunteer with us!

We are always keen for new people to join our team. If you are interested in raising awareness and putting on events in the Dorset & West Hampshire area, please take a look at our opportunities.
