IBD Nurse Specialists Programme - MSc Pathway

Becoming a Crohn’s & Colitis UK Nurse Specialist is a unique opportunity to fund and support your education and development. The role would continue as long as you are working in your current post.

It will connect you with other nurses in the programme, building a community of support for you as you complete your masters.

About the MSc Pathway

As part of the MSc pathway, the charity will fund you up to £10,000 to study a part-time MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, taken over three years.

The programme will also allow you to access all the skills, knowledge and resourcing that the charity has, including senior nursing leadership, information and support services, research and so much more.

As part of the programme, you will attend four meetings per year either virtually or at Crohn’s & Colitis UK headquarters (mostly virtually). You will then take back the skills, knowledge and the charity’s strategy into your workplace.

We will also provide you with online and telephone support throughout the programme, and the chance to network closely with the other nurses in the programme.

We recommend studying your MSc at one of the AAPE UK Member universities: Current AAPE UK Members – AAPE
