Gut Reaction Has a New Webpage!

13 November 2020

We're excited to share with you a new webpage about the Gut Reaction Health Data Hub, funded by UK Research and Innovation and delivered in partnership with Health Data Research UK. In this page you can find out more about what this innovative new project is all about and how to take part.

New Gut Reaction Webpage

Gut Reaction is a research project that brings together health data from thousands of people living with Crohn’s and Colitis across the UK so we can carry out research to improve the lives of people living with the conditions, faster.

This new page brings together all the information that people with Crohn’s and Colitis need to know about the Gut Reaction research resource:

  • What is it and how does it work?
  • Where does the data come from?
  • What role does Crohn's & Colitis UK play in the project?
  • How can I take part?

Visit the new Gut Reaction webpage

If you’re interested in finding out even more, strategic detail about Gut Reaction can be found on HDR UK’s website, whilst information about the hub for researchers can be found here.

Help shape the future of Crohn's and Colitis health data research

We are also pleased to have been able to bring you ‘virtual posters’ from Gut Reaction, as well its two collaborating data resources, the IBD BioResource and the IBD Registry, at our recent Patient and Public Involvement in Research Day. In these interactive pages, you can watch informative videos about these projects, then feedback your views on their approach and voice any concerns.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to influence these research projects as they continue develop and grow. You can take part wherever you are - whether you’re at home or on the go! Check them out here and give your input before the polling closes on 17th November.
