Join our Readers Panel

Published 18 January 2016

All our information publications are reviewed and updated every 2-3 years. Our Readers Panel is a vital part of this process, and we are looking for more members.

Each time we write a new edition of a publication we consult with a range of health and other appropriate professionals. We also like to get the views of people affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) - and to do this we ask members of our Readers Panel to comment on each publication while it is in draft form. We have fantastic people on our Panel, but we need more to meet the number of publications that we are reviewing.

You don't need to have any special knowledge or training, you just need to be someone with experience of living with IBD and willing to use your experience to comment on our information from a reader's point of view.

If you are interested in joining our Panel, please email Alice Flawith, Publications Officer, at publications@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk and put ‘RP’ and your name in the subject line. Please also include some information about you – which condition you have, when you were diagnosed, etc.

We look forward to hearing from you!
