Introducing Amy Dowden X Crohn’s & Colitis UK: Wear Your Courage

Monday 19th of May is World IBD Day and this year we are celebrating the courage it takes to live with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We wanted to do something really special to mark the occasion, and when we think of courage, there’s one woman who has it by the bucketload: our Ambassador Amy Dowden, MBE.

So, after Amy accepted her Honour from King Charles for her work as an advocate for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, we asked her to work with us on a range of courage merchandise for World IBD Day. Luckily, she said yes and we are delighted to share it with you now.

The Amy Dowden X Crohn’s & Colitis UK: It Takes Courage range is being sold through Everpress Ltd. Every item will be printed to order and a minimum of 20% of the sales (excluding VAT) during the campaign will be donated to Crohn’s & Colitis UK. The special edition t-shirts (available for adults and children) and tote bags will be available to order until Tuesday June 17th. You can buy them here or using the link on our website or Instagram bio.

As you’ll see, the design features a sweet pea, which is one of Amy's favourite flowers, as well as purple hearts representing the IBD community.

"I'm so proud to be an Ambassador for Crohn's & Colitis UK. I'd say to anyone else with Inflammatory Bowel Disease that you might feel overwhelmed sometimes, but you're not alone,” says Amy. “There's so much strength in the Crohn's & Colitis UK community and it's such an amazing charity. Raising awareness is vital and it takes real courage to live with Crohn's or Colitis every day, so I wanted to celebrate that with this design."

All the orders are being fulfilled by Everpress Ltd, and you can read more information about sizing, shipping times and delivery by checking out the online shopfront.

So many people have been in touch asking us for Crohn’s & Colitis UK merchandise over the years so we hope you enjoy this very special collaboration. So wear your courage with pride, get chatting to people about the meaning behind your t-shirt or tote bag, and let’s raise money and awareness together.

Thank you.
