Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, 12th October - Cheer Point

We're looking for enthusiastic event volunteers to join us at our CHEER POINT on Sunday 12th October 2025. Cheering on our amazing runners with words of encouragement gives them a much-needed boost along the route!

By volunteering with us you’ll be vital in motivating our amazing runners!

This stunning central London Half Marathon, takes in some of the capital's world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London's eight Royal Parks - Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens.

Our cheer point will be located along the route but we’ll let you know ahead of the day exactly where you need to go.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

We need volunteers that can spare a few hours – so if you have friends and family running, or just want to soak up the amazing atmosphere, why not come and join us on the day?

The cheering point is a team effort, so as a volunteer you would also help with setting up the cheer point, giving out t-shirts and cheering materials, making sure the area is kept tidy and helping with packing down.

WHAT’S REQUIRED FROM YOU?

Together the team will be motivating our runners, spurring them on their way round the course.

WHY GET INVOLVED?

A fun, community-spirited day out supporting a fantastic event and cause

TO NOTE

If you are under 18 years old a responsible adult/parent must also register to volunteer alongside you and be responsible for you on the day
