Partner Testimonials

Hear from some of our corporate partners as to why they chose to partner with Crohn's & Colitis UK, and how they've found work together with our team.

Our company selected Crohn’s & Colitis UK to be our corporate charity partner for the year this year. This was done through a mix of employee nominations and random selection, so it meant that the cause remained really close to our employee’s hearts.

We always know the importance and the level of impact we make to charities we partner with, but we never knew just how much of an impact the charity would have on us.

Working with Crohn’s & Colitis UK was so powerful for us and through the webinar with our staff, we were able to educate, empathise and grow as individuals once we learnt a little more about the chronic illness.

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the team and the charity as a whole and we encourage any organisations out there to support where they can. Thank you to the incredible team, volunteers, ambassadors and supporters of Crohn’s & Colitis UK. We look forward to supporting you further for the rest of the year!

Anord Mardix

Our partnership with Crohn's & Colitis UK started when a colleague who suffers from Colitis nominated the charity to receive one of our annual grants.

It would be fair to say that knowledge of Crohn’s and Colitis was limited, and although we have a strong set of values that underpin our workplace, it left us feeling a like we needed to understand more.

Our introductory discussions with Crohn's & Colitis UK were perfectly structured to help educate and inform, within their overarching objective to ensure that workplaces were as inclusive as possible.

The team at Crohn's & Colitis UK utilised well-structured presentations combining the right levels of data and insight, with real life stories which could not fail to inspire.

As our understanding of the conditions grew, we became aware that there was more than just one person within our business suffering with Crohn’s.

With the support of the team at Crohn's & Colitis UK we have been able to put measures in place to ensure that our workplaces are inclusive for everyone.

The relationship has now grown into much broader areas where we are partnering on topics such as L&D and Strategy.

Working with the team at Crohn's & Colitis UK is like gaining another team within our business, and they genuinely feel like our colleagues!

Lindt & Sprüngli (UK) Ltd

Working closely with Crohn’s & Colitis UK over the last 18months has been a fantastic experience.

Not only have we as a company and network learnt so much but we’ve also been able to share that across our business with a reach of over 50,000 people and aid our patients through their willingness to share their experience and resources. Their knowledge, passion and warmth has helped bring to life how this condition effects people, and I'm so glad that we were able to work with them to make positive changes.

We have chosen to support Crohn’s & Colitis UK because this Charity has a personal connection to one of the team, Katie, the Regional Finance Manager here at Boohoo Group Plc. At a young age of 16, Katie was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Crohn's and Colitis UK are a fabulous charity which supports the research and development of new treatments with the aim of ultimately finding a cure. They also provide support for sufferers with information and help for friends and family, and to help people with this condition navigate their way through life which is why we think they are a great charity to support!
