Play to Win

The weekly lottery is a great way to support our ongoing work

Have you tried the Crohn’s & Colitis UK Lottery? It costs just £1 per week to play, of which 50% goes directly to funding our work.

When you join the lottery you’re allocated your own six-digit lottery number. A random winning number is drawn every week and you could win £25,000 if all six digits are in the same place as your number. Five digits in the correct place wins £1,000 and four digits £25. Three digits in the correct place wins five prize entries into the next draw.

One of our regular players, based in Glasgow, joined the lottery in July 2018, having been a member of Crohn’s & Colitis UK since 2002. She was lucky enough to win the £1,000 prize in January 2019.

She told us, “I want to feel I am helping, albeit in a very limited way, to find a cure for Colitis in particular and IBD in general.

“I wanted to make regular, small donations and the lottery was a hassle-free way of doing so.  I never expected to win!”

Last year, seven supporters were lucky enough to win the £1,000 prize, with 500 supporters winning smaller prizes.
