We started talking about racism

Our anti-racism vision is to make sure no one with Crohn's or Colitis is left behind.

Cartoon of three different coloured hands

How people are diagnosed and treated, how people live with their condition, and how they access care and opportunities for employment and education are all influenced by society.

This means health experiences and outcomes are not equal for everyone, and some communities are at a significant disadvantage. Health inequalities, systemic racism, and unequal access to diagnosis, treatment, and support fails the community we serve. We're committed to changing that.

We support the bravery of the individuals that have spoken out on discrimination or racism. We also thank the people in our own Crohn's and Colitis community who are educating us, and each other, to create a better world for themselves and future generations.

We must break down barriers to ensure that everyone is included because, after all, there are more things we have in common than not.
