Show how you feel

Young Man And Child

You don't always need words to start a conversation.

So, how do you show people what it's like to live with Crohn's and Colitis?

Why not start by creating your own #ItTakesGuts poster to share with friends and family?

Then check out our growing gallery of illustrations – and share your favourites on social. (If you're feeling super creative, you could even create your own!)

I don’t think I've met anyone who wasn’t supportive. I moved in with some of my friends and they saw first-hand how bad it could be, and because they already knew about my condition they were really supportive and looked after me – making sure I had food or a cup of tea or anything when I was ill.
