WALK IT TOGETHER
Join thousands of people affected by Crohn's and Colitis for a fun day raising funds and awareness in one of eight UK cities.
Take part in a 5km or 10km route, taking in the best sights of your city, and finishing in the fun-filled event village.
Challenge yourself to get sponsored and WALK IT – together with family or friends – to raise £100 or more. Your fundraising will enable us to do vital new research, answer more calls from people needing help and provide patient packs to hospitals across the UK.
Sometimes having Crohn's or Colitis can be lonely, but standing at that start line I looked around and felt overwhelmed at how many people there were just like me. It was like a sense of family, I absolutely loved the whole day.
Our volunteers are critical to the success of every event. As a WALK IT volunteer we will support you every step of the way and no special skills are required – your help and enthusiasm will make a huge difference on the day.
The best bit was hearing people sharing their personal stories back at the event village, reminding me exactly why I had decided to volunteer.
You can register as an individual or as a team, and you’ll get a free t-shirt included with your £14 registration fee. Children are £7 to register and they also get a free WALK IT t-shirt!
When registering you can also buy some great Crohn’s & Colitis UK hoodies and goodies in our new online shop.
Once you have registered, we will send you everything you need for the day, including WALK IT t-shirts and our fundraising guide.
I enjoyed every part of it. Seeing different areas of the city, the great atmosphere, and hearing peoples' stories. Just being with others who have Crohn's and Colitis and feeling part of a community.
