National volunteer roles

Volunteers should not be left out of pocket because of their volunteering activities; we encourage volunteers to claim their expenses (in line with the Travel and Subsistence Policy). To claim expenses, please complete the expenses form and return it to your staff volunteering contact.

Crohn's and Colitis UK takes its obligation to protect children and young people very seriously. All of our volunteers must know the appropriate way to behave around children and young people, how to recognise abuse, and how to report a concern. The Safeguarding Training presentation provides the knowledge and resource to meet this responsibility.
