We will always put patients at the heart of everything we do to ensure we’re able to best serve people living with IBD. As such, we are committed to working collaboratively with pharmaceutical companies, alongside other stakeholders involved in IBD, to improve patient outcomes.
To ensure we maintain our independence, we provide information but never recommend any one treatment or medication in our resources or communications. To safeguard Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s independence, funding from pharmaceutical and medical device companies will not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the charity’s total annual income.
We are committed to working in a transparent, consistent and fair way when working with industry to maintain our integrity and reputation within the charity and health sectors.

We’re working on many specific projects currently aimed at improving our reach, from how we best talk to different audiences within our supporter base, to how we can best promote specific promotions and events. We’d love to understand your team's skill set and see if there are any ways we can learn from you. This could be on a project basis, or maybe more general in a lunch and learn setting.
Whether it’s desk-based or out-and-about, we have various volunteering roles to suit everyone. From bucket collecting at an event to doing some desk-based research from home or even introducing us to people who may be interested in our work – volunteering makes a huge difference and we appreciate every hour donated.
