We are so sorry to hear the news that this year's Great North Run has been cancelled. You can read Great North Run's latest information here.

We are reviewing the information from the event organisers and will be in touch with next steps as soon as we can.

Thank YOU again for helping to make the fundraising and Great North Run experience so good. The charity is a fantastic resource and support. I'm sure I'll be involved in fundraising for it again

Great North Run, 2018

The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with over 57,000 runners. The run starts in Newcastle and finishes on the coast at South Shields. There will be thousands of cheering supporters to keep you motivated every step of the way and we will be there at the end to greet you in the Charity Village!

In 2020, the Great North Run will be celebrating it's 40th birthday - celebrate this specia event whilst helping to raise vital funds that will improve the lives of people affected by Crohn's and Colitis.

Charity places for Great North Run 2020 are now closed. If you'd like to be notified when registrations for our places for 2021 are live, please get it touch.

If you have secured your own place in the 2020 Great North Run, sign up here to join our team! You will have access to all the same benefits as our guaranteed entry runners but with no minimum sponsorship target.
