What is Cake & a Cuppa?

Cake & a Cuppa is a fundraising event, which can be held as a tea party, coffee morning, bake sale or anything fitting that works for you.

Come together with friends, family, colleagues or the wider community to share stories, enjoy cake and raise vital funds for those affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. You can hold an event wherever you like: at work, at home, at school, at university, in your local community.


When is Cake & a Cuppa?

Cake & a  Cuppa is 7 – 21  October 2024, but you can hold your event on any date that suits you. Just let us know if you choose a different date, by emailing Fundraising@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk

When will I receive my fundraising pack?

When registering for the event if you opted in for a fundraising pack then this will be posted to you and will arrive within two weeks.

How do I raise funds at my event?

There are lots way to make your fundraiser a huge success, see our fundraising tips.


How do I pay in my donations?

Online

If you have raised money through your Facebook or JustGiving page, the donations will come straight to us – so you don’t need to do anything!

Offline

If you have raised money offline, here’s how to pay it in:

Direct Bank Transfer by BACS:

This will be to our Lloyds bank account called 'Crohn's & Colitis UK' using the following details:

  • Account Number: 00892491
  • Sort Code: 30-97-25
  • Reference: Full name followed by CAAC24
  • Email Fundraising@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk to let us know the amount you have donated

Send us a cheque by post:

Please make the cheque payable to Crohn’s & Colitis UK and post to Crohn's & Colitis UK,

Please include a cover note detailing the following

  • Your Full name followed Cake & a Cuppa 2024
  • Your postal address and email address
