HR And Managers Conversation Guide PDF

Once Lois was diagnosed, it was not about making significant changes to working arrangements but small tweaks that would benefit her and give her the confidence to be able to fulfil her role to the maximum of her ability. An example of this was that an office move took place a couple of years ago; when allocating desks, it was not possible to assign a toilet just for Lois, but she was deliberately located as near to one as possible.

Talking Toolkit

As well as our guides for employers and employees, we have the Talking Toolkit, which can help those living with the condition find the words to talk about it through a personalised print out of things they experience and how you can help them. If your employee or team mate wants to talk about their condition but isn't sure how to explain it to you, this might help.

Our guide for employees to talk to managers and HR about their condition

Your employee might not be sure how to explain their condition or needs at work, so our employee conversation guide can help empower them to ask for what they need in the workplace.
