People living with invisible disabilities and conditions like Crohn's and Colitis need better understanding and support in the workplace. Our Are You IN? programme is helping empower employers, staff and people living with the conditions alike.
It isn’t about being ‘lucky’ to have an understanding manager or employer. It's about everyone at work, employees, managers and HR having the confidence, tools and resources to talk about invisible conditions.
You can sign-up to with our short form to be emailed more information to forward onto your HR team. You might also want to share the information with your staff forum and disability network, if you have them at work.
If you are concerned about contacting your HR team directly, please contact campaigns@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk and we will send the information on your behalf. We will do this anonymously, so you do not have to identify yourself. If you are struggling at work and need support please click here.
An honest conversation with my manager was a break-through moment. It led to great communication, understanding and support. I’ve never been more confident and empowered to give my best to the company.
