Volunteer with us!
We are always keen for new people to join our team. If you are interested in raising awareness and putting on events in the South Wales area, please take a look at our opportunities.
Hello! Thanks for visiting the South Wales Local Network page. We’re always interested in welcoming new people to our events and activities so do get in touch or come along to any of the events you find below. Our contact details can also be found on this page or you can reach us via the social media channels.
We’re here for everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, an estimated 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. And the real number could be almost double that. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence.
But they are not alone.
Our 50 Local Networks operate across the UK bringing local people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis together and raising awareness of the conditions with members of the public. From educational talks to social events, we help give people the comfort and confidence to live freer and fuller lives. And together, we can make our voice heard.
Our events are a great opportunity to meet others affected by Crohn’s and Colitis, learn more about the conditions and the charity as well as meet our local volunteers.
If no events are currently listed, please check back for our future events when they are planned.
We are always keen for new people to join our volunteer team. If you are interested in raising awareness and putting on events in the South Wales area, please get in touch.
We’re offering people the chance to join a virtual social event with others across the area. People from other areas of the UK as well as family, friends and colleagues are more than welcome to attend.
