Development of a sexual function patient reported outcome measure (sex-PROM)

Researchers at St Mark's Hospital are looking for adults (18+) who have undergone fistula surgery, defunctioning stoma formation, proctectomy or ileo-anal pouch formation to take part in individual interviews about their lived experience of surgery and sexual dysfunction. The results of which will form the development of a questionnaire.

This study by researchers at St Mark's Hospital is looking to create a questionnaire that will be used to measure sexual function in patients undergoing surgery for IBD. This will be used as a future tool to counsel patients before surgery.
