Supporting young people to live well with IBD

Researchers at Aston University are looking for young people aged 13-18 years with IBD (Crohn’s or Colitis) and parents of these young people, to take part in a new study funded by Crohn’s and Colitis UK and Aston University.

The research is exploring what it is like for a young person to live with IBD, the challenges they face (e.g. with medication or lifestyle changes, symptom management) and how young people can be supported to live well with IBD.

Taking part involves talking with a researcher on the telephone or video call (e.g. using Skype, Zoom, FaceTime) about your experiences of living with IBD. You will receive a £10 gift voucher for your time.

If you are interested in taking part in the study and would like more information, please contact one of the research team: either Cassie Screti or Lou Atkinson.

This research study is funded by Crohn's & Colitis UK. Please see full details of the funded study here.

We cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research - it is a patient’s choice to take part.
