Mindfulness and Self-Compassion to Improve Mental Health and Well-Being for Young People

A pilot and feasibility trial of a mindfulness intervention for young people with IBD.

Researchers at the University of Sheffield are looking for young people aged 16-25 and living within or close to the South Yorkshire region to take part in a study interested in the potential benefits of mindfulness to young people living with IBD.

This new study, funded by Crohn’s & Colitis UK, will assess whether attending a 16-week group, in which attendees will learn skills in mindfulness and being kind to themselves, can improve the way young people feel when living with IBD. If you are interested and would like more information about the study, please check out this information sheet or click on this link to access the study research information kit.

Details about our funding of this study can be found here, as well as the full list of our sponsored projects.
