Exploring the experience of family planning in women with Crohn’s or Colitis and their partners

Researchers at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust are looking for female patients with Crohn's or Colitis who are of childbearing age and who either (i) plan to have children, (ii) plan to not have children or are (iii) pregnant with their first baby or have (iv) delivered their first child in last 12 months, to take part in a study “Exploring the experience of family planning in women with IBD and their partners”.

Do you have Crohn's or Colitis and want to participate in a research study about having children and planning your family?

Have you considered having a family, but been too concerned about having children to go on to become pregnant? Or are you currently pregnant with your first child or have recently given birth to your first child?

This new study funded by Crohn's & Colitis UK will assess the beliefs and experiences of patients with Crohn's or Colitis when it comes to planning a family.

If you are interested and would like more information about the study, which would involve participating in an interview (which can take part either by telephone or in person) lasting approximately one hour, please contact Marie Green, 01902 307999 extension 8609 or via email.
