We had 16,000 queries over the phone, email or live chat for information and support. That's a 644% increase in emails and a 121% increase in calls because of the pandemic compared with March 2019. 

8,000 people took part in our Life in Lockdown survey <link to new Protection page> to help us understand the impact of national restrictions on your health and wellbeing.

We had 1.8million page views of our Covid-19 hub, packed with essential information for those with Crohn's and Colitis. This included the launch of our new Mental Health and Wellbeing information. 

300 of you took part in our virtual Patient Involvement in Research day – our biggest audience yet.

229,000 followers watched our Facebook Live events on various issues such as vaccinations and wellbeing.

Our overall fundraising income fell by 29%* as many events were cancelled due to lockdown. But 1,825 of our Facebook followers alone raised £226,000!

522 people decided to become a regular giver, compared with the 180 we sign up in an average year.

Our IBD Toolkit for GPs has now been viewed 16,000 times across the UK.
