Charity of the Year raises more than £20,000

Published 04 January 2019

MHS Homes have raised more than £20,000 towards our vision of better lives today, and a world free from Crohn’s and Colitis tomorrow.

In 2018, MHS Homes were our largest Charity of the Year partner.

One of MHS Homes’ employees Alex nominated us to be their Charity of the Year because her close friend has Crohn’s Disease.

This money will make a huge difference in helping support those who suffer with Crohn’s and Colitis. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s helped raise this fantastic sum of money -  from the rowing to the cake baking, slippers day to sponsored silences  – everything you’ve done has helped raise vital funds.

When you have Crohn’s or Colitis, your immune system doesn’t work properly, and your body starts attacking itself. The consequences can be devastating. The number of people living with Crohn’s and Colitis in the UK is huge – and it’s rising.

Huge thanks to MHS homes for their fantastic awareness raising and fundraising in 2018. This incredible sum will enable us to continue to support everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis.

Rachel Covey
Corporate Partnerships Officer

Thank you to all the MHS Homes staff, stakeholders and everyone else who’s supported or donated to raise such a fantastic amount.
