New website page shares the latest research into the coronavirus and Crohn’s and Colitis

Researchers across the world are looking into the impact of coronavirus on people with Crohn's and Colitis. 

There are many past, current, and future studies looking into areas such as:

  • Symptoms, like pain or gut symptoms, and flare-ups during the pandemic.
  • The impact of different Crohn’s and Colitis medicines on the severity of COVID-19 illness.
  • The development of protective antibodies to coronavirus in people with Crohn’s and Colitis – both in those infected with coronavirus or in response to a vaccine.
