Our 5k or 10k route around Beautiful Bristol and raised vital awareness and funds for those affected by Crohn's and Colitis.
Our event village opened from 09:30am with the routes being offically opened at 10:30am.
Walkers explored the city’s sights and views of the River Avon before returning to the event village for a great afternoon of fun, food and entertainment.
Whether walkers were flaring, in remission or supporting a loved one, we know It Takes Guts to take part. Together, we raised awareness and helped break the silence.
Raising £100 or more - could help pay for 2,000 people to get the information they need about Crohn's and Colitis.
This year, WALK IT Bristol was opened by Olympic silver medalist Siobhan-Marie O'Connor!
Our walkers set up a JustGiving page:
Walkers could share this poster with their friends and family and could create a team!
There was a real sense of belonging to a community at WALK IT. My daughter was diagnosed a year ago and it can feel quite lonely/scary at times, so we found it incredibly powerful to be part of such an amazing day.
