Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week 2021

It's Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week on 1-7 December, and your story matters.

You could be living with Crohn's and Colitis or supporting a loved one who does. You could be a doctor, nurse, employer, researcher, or policymaker. You're all part of our community, and this week is all about the difference we can make together.

From improving healthcare and access to services to providing vital information, and from shaping research to reducing stigma. We use stories every day to help people with Crohn's and Colitis live fuller, freer lives.

You might share yours with people close to you, at school, or at work. Maybe you'll post about your experiences on social media. Or maybe you'll learn more about the experiences of others at our virtual social events.

However you mark awareness week, this week is for you.

Each day, we'll be sharing ways to make your voice, and telling you how we use your stories to improve lives for people affected by Crohn's and Colitis. MAke sure to follow our social media accounts to stay up to date on everything that's happening across the week!

Everyone should be able to be their best at work, and we're calling on employers to support people with invisible conditions and disabilities to do just that. Tell us what your employer has done to help you, so that we can encourage others to do the same. Fill in our form.

Day 7: 7 December

Your stories help shape our work, so tell us what you need more of. It could be information about certain topics, additional access to specialists or a care plan specifically for you. Tell us what matters to you.
