Threshold event challenges have something for everyone whether you are a runner, a walker or a cyclist!

Run or Walk with the Trail Series

They are inclusive of all ages, experience and fitness levels whether you are a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker the Race To Series are a great way to support us whilst completing a fantastical event!

Threshold events also offer two incredible cycling events with the chance to see Britain’s beautiful landscape. Definitely cycling events not to be missed!

Trail Series

Race to the Castle
28-29 May 2022

Location: Kirkhale, Newcastle to Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh – 100km

Race to the castle medalHead off from the start line into the hilly woodlands and stunning moorlands of the fames Northumberland National Park. Abundant with wildlife, see if you can spot the renowned red squirrel before following the trail along the River Coquet all the way to basecamp.

Carrying on your Ultra Marathon journey, you will soon hit the coastline which will accompany you for the rest of the day. Navigate the sandy trails before finishing in Bamburgh where celebrations and jubilation await you.

Race to the King medalsTry an 100KM Ultra steeped in history and starting and finishing at the iconic Goodwood Racecourse. Explore two equal, but very different loops in this incredible part of the world with a variety of terrain and landscape that will challenge and inspire in equal measure.

Race to the Tower
25-26 June 2022

Location & Distance: Hand Farm, Stroud,  – Broadway Tower, Broadway – 52 Miles

Race to the Tower medalsConquer the Cotswolds and take on Race to the Tower in June 2022! From quaint idyllic villages to medieval burial grounds, the Cotswold Way will take you all the way to the foot of the magnificent Broadway Tower.

The highlights are endless, rich with 13th Century ruins and modern day film locations. The yellow, Jurassic Cotswold stone will pave the way, as you pass castles and the famous Cooper’s Hill en-route.

Race to the Stones
9-10 July 2022

Location & Distance: Lewknor, Oxon to Rutland Farm, Avebury – 100km

Race to the Stones medalsWanna be a 100km heroine or hero? Join our award-winning Ultra Marathon and tackle the oldest path in Britain - the iconic Ridgeway. Walk, jog or run to the historic Avebury Stone Circle. From sign up to the finish line, we will support you every step of the way along this incredible journey!

With a completion rate of over 90% this is the perfect 1st ultra. Enjoy the stunning British countryside from the Chilterns to the North Wessex Downs, passing Bronze Age hill forts and Roman river crossings.
